The women featured are:

Jeanne Baret (1740-1807) – Recognized as tthe first female to circumnavigate the globe, but in the late 1700s had to do so disguised as a man.

Isabella Bird (1831-1904) – A solo woman traveler who rode her horse frontward “like a man” through America, Asia, and the Middle East.
